For starters it's going to have Rollback netcode with Crossplay, which basically means it's already going to be a better online experience than Smash Ultimate. What makes it better is that it's not going to be on the Switch, so there's less Wifi Warriors. On top of that, having it 2v2 focus means it's less intimidating (for casuals) to play online. Having moves have utility to either damage the opponent or help your allies is also fairly unique as well. And the F2P model makes the barrier of entry easier. There's also somethings I'm worried though. The art style is fine, but some of the animations (like for Superman) look bland and don't have the "crunch" impact that Smash Ultimate has when it comes to on hit collision. F2P can be done in terrible ways and it's new territory for Fighters. If they handle it like Brawlhalla, there shouldn't be much issues. If they start adding in stuff like Stats boosts or an energy system, I'll immediately drop it. We don't need freemium mobile garbage like that in this game. There's a lot that can go wrong, but if done right it can have a place in the Platform fighter sphere.
