I am the type of person that if the movie breaks logic in any way it ruins it for me. That being said I don't see how Meg Ryan's character would fall for the guy thats part of the reason her book store, that was also her mom's legacy closing down. I just don't see that ever happening in the real world at all, MAYBE with someone with a different personality type as hers, but for sure not someone like her.

I am okay if the movie establishes rules to their universe and follows them, however if the movie is based on real life, then it has to make sense. As I am sorry, but in the real world, with a woman like that, that outcome is not happening.

Most romantic comedies break logic.

So you dont buy the thing that is the entire plot device of the film?

Why the hell did you watch it? Based on this topic I really think youll be happier sticking with anime/manga or whatever
