As purty as breath of fire 4's pixel art/sprites is and how fun the combo system is I preferred breath of fire 3 overall. Rei, momo, garr, and raising a busted peco is cooler than part 4's cast (aside from scias. scias is awesome). Breath of fire 3 also had the better story (not by a huge margin though...bof4's was also pretty good) and the ost is way better than 4's ost.
