Already reasoned out on page 1. If Chris did a bus, that makes him look really good, but something that doesn't click with that line of thinking is killing the poisoner BEFORE they could poison. Why handicap yourself day 1 except to sate your own ego?

Sure you can. You could also have someone who is half the time roleblocker on scum and another who is the opposite, which means the roleblocks aren't completely lost with one death.

No you see he beat me in visual novel 2 mafia 10 years ago and that humiliation is seared into my brain. I will never underestimate scum plum I promise.

Anyway thinking it over some I am against a Ben lynch today. While I agree he has s lot of scum equity still there is comfort in knowing that he was indeed a neighborizer last night. I feel as if we have a strong enough town to find one of the other four possible scum and lynch them instead. I feel Ben also can prove useful if he is town because of how analytical he of capable of being.

I can be swayed from this but I just am left with confusion in hindsight at some of the interactions. Feel free to argue this but the last thing we need to be thinking is 'oh cool easy day' a few hours in. That is blatantly how towns lose.

For my own sanity I basically filter out a few players because I don't exactly have a whole lot in the way of free time (it's taking me this long just to do my rereads and address things that stand out.) Hell, I let scum-Ulti through the cracks last game I played because I was so fixated on someone being a jackass to me for no reason and going woe-is-me. Isolating posts in a vacuum gets to come during the night phase, and don't think I haven't noticed that your predecessor was floating either a gladiator or a bodyguard claim and yet now we have a dead bodyguard that isn't you.

Also scum don't tend to claim things not on their safelist for fun. So while Miller is a fine claim since it's good to let cop know not to scan you ulti is likely being fanciful.

Ulti admires me so he tries to do plays I do. Except he isn't as sound at mafia as I am. I like fake claiming and gambitimg and blah and blah etc. I fucking refuse to be distracted by gambit and low ev plays today.

so I just skimmed a whole lot of games and surprisingly found I played I'm a bunch of them. it was a lot of nostalgia, or maybe not, cause I didn't even remember playing in them. I was looking for a trend and it didn't really manifest.

I can say that in psych mafia, scum ulti pushed the mass claim day 1 hard. it's how town wins games he said... he's doing that again here. now.

I found another game scum ulti game where he was going at Chris. Anything that excuses Chris for being alive late means he's scum, he said. he's now pushing Chris should be killed cause "strongman" is dead.

I was hoping to find a good link in Elden Rings mafia (also scum ulti) but no dice. however that game early took a turn, so hard to push a mass claim.

oh and I found a great post from Sultan from like 2ish years ago where he was sad everyone thought he was stupid at mafia. Sultan, I fuxking love you man. seriously, you've come a long way.

juat read theough first two topics of FE mafia(a game i was not in). ulti was town. honest and straight forward with his claim and had actual passion in his scum hunting. not once did he call for a mass claim and say they win games for town.

and a quick glance through first 2 topics of your game Chris, not a peep on mass claiming. mond you that game is an outlier as being kingmaker and all. but very different ulti none the less and scum killed him first.
