I think personally some of the reactions aren't genuine, and they're doing it for entertainment. But to say she doesn't deserve this is a matter of subjective opinion.

This is how I feel about a lot of internet activity too. I don't think many people stop to consider how fuckin daunting it is to have half the country dogpile on you. Especially with this being a new phenomenon thanks to the internet. There's very few crimes where I can see it as anything other than douchey for having fun dogpiling on someone. It's an ugly side of someone to get joy out of it. No matter how much you feel the person deserves it. You're basically letting someone's worst infect you and make you operate from your ugly side as well.

Either you're ignorant of the actual discussion going on, or you're only hearing the vocal minority in this discussion.

It's not about hating Amber Heard, and it never was.
It's not about punishing her or penalizing her.

It's always been about men being listened to and taken seriously.
While we have countless vocal people (including celebrities) yelling about "Justice for Amber" and "setting women back" and "an abuser won" and bullshit like that, yes I will stay vocal.
I will continuously comment and dispute that utter bullshit.
Not everyone is happy to be silent and say "good enough".

I don't think I have seen one post where someone said she should be executed or beat up. Not here, not Twitter, not TikTok, not Facebook, etc.

What I have seen from everyone, though, is that she's a horrible human being and that the verdict was spot on.

He is literally inventing things to be upset about.
I've stated numerous times "We're talking about awareness."
"I'm refuting misinformation and harmful rhetoric."
Etc.

Yet he's constantly yelling "Fine! You all want her dead! I fucking get it."
I have not ONCE seen someone call for violence against her or further punishment.
I've seen people happy about the verdict, happy that she won't be a prominent figure in movies and TV going forward, and happy that an abuser is brought to justice.

I've also seen countless people defending Heard (disgusting), minimizing Depp's experience, ignoring that victims lashing out against their abuser is not itself abuse, etc.

TC is tone deaf, and doesn't want to hear about the topic anymore. Whatever. In my opinion, it's very clear he has some unresolved shit that he's dealing with.
