Legendary gems are not necessary - if hes maxed out and has no more content, just dont play? Literally no reason to spend money lol. If there was more actual content that was gated by a paywall he has a point. He hit paragon 30 in less than 2 weeks cause hes playing 12-16 hours a day.

if he managed to clear all content without super legendary gems then the game isnt gated by a paywall and no one needs to spend money unless they opt to do so.
