Talkin bout gender equality and today's society what not. Back in the day sometimes id casually have a discussion and the question would slip out and id get this look of death at me if i asked a woman her age.

One thing Ive learned over the last year is that MOST people lie about their age for whatever reason, men and women.

So go ahead and ask anyone lol

why are you randomly asking people their ages?

or, if you are asking in a context where it's relevant, then it won't be a problem.

I pretty much never ask anyone their age, you can usually get a general idea based on looks. That is good enough for me.

work likes to plaster everyone's ages on the walls when it's their birthday, otherwise I'd have no idea about anyone's age

i get it if you're underage and want to get alcohol or something, but thats not really what is being referenced

I never understood this, but I'm not gonna fight it. I feel like not saying your age is being afraid of old age or appearing as too old which is indirectly shitting on older women.

But again, no point I've ever made about this will stick. They will scream at you and it just causes problems. I just say whatever now and change the subject. My girlfriend is 46, I'm 41. This is probably the only place I'd even dare say that. Her birthday is 2 days before mine. She was born at 230am just like me too.

My own mother refused to give me her age for our company's supplemental insurance forms about 10 years ago.

Ask all you want. I normally will only ask someone their age if they ask me first. I don't understand what the big deal is.

I never tell people how old I am and when they ask I say guess and whatever they guess thats how old I say I am

not for any other reason than I think its funny everybody thinks Im a different age
