Myself and a lot of other people I know went through this same thing. I think there was a huge push against salmonella and all of our parents overcompensated

I legit don't think it's possible. there is nothing that would ever want to make me eat a plain chunk of meat that large

I like thinly slicing steaks and using them for stirfrys or fajitas or whatever though

Gotta say, I agree.

It's literally just a seasoned and cooked slice of meat, it's still just that. Its amazing when served right, but its.. just a slab of meat.

Steak, Potatoes, and Green beans is one of my favorite dinners though.
