Like for example it is a anime show where college aged kids lives on city that moves around. And for some reason if they come near another city they fight. Then there is a anime with a black dude going around Japan fighting people over a headband. Hollywood wouldn't greenlight that. But anime takes the risk. So they take all these risks, and there are some really bad anime. But you can't have great stuff if you are not willingly to risk it. In the America it is like 90% are bad sitcoms,reality shows, true crime, or another cop or EMS show from Dick Wolf. --- To be a poor man is hard, but to be a poor race in a land of dollars is the very bottom of hardships. So that is why there are a billion cop, Doctor and lawyer dramas. Meanwhile the unique stuff usually gets canceled. It has a better chance on cable or streaming services. Some of them are crazy, others are nice just saying what a cool wonderful world these people live in. You normally do not see that in Western stuff as much. And yes there are a million animes that are set in that same Japanese High School. A subgenre of anime where the Main Character (MC) is transported to a different world. Often times the MC is killed and then reincarnated in a fantasy world, but the only constant is the MC winding up in a different world than their own. The "how" can be whatever the creator comes up with. Although, there's a running joke that a lot of isekai use a runaway truck to kill the MC. Still not as bad as the Harem animes of the mid 2000's where the MC has a dozen girls throwing themselves at him and he's somehow oblivious to it all.
