Life just isnt going how I want. All my depends moved away, I cant find a job Im passionate about, Im eating like shot even though I told my self Id lose weight this year, Im barely scraping by money wise, I feel like Ima constant disappointment to my gf, I feel like I loser all my creative ambition.

Honestly change will only happen when you want it. And sometimes depression and anxiety will keep you from it. I would suggest getting medical help and see if the anxiety can be taken care of. Thats the aspect that normally keeps people from doing things they love or want to do.

sounds kinda like my relationship. and then she fuckin dumped me. i think she got sick of me moping around and not doing anything about it.

within a week of that happening i got myself a real career and scheduled an appointment to see a therapist. my shitty insurance makes it so i cant see anyone until the end of the month but my new job should fix that once i actually start

If you're drinking you're just making the depression worse.

waking up hungover and depressed is the worst. Im glad Ive never relied on alcohol too much (maybe a couple-few beers at most) when depressed

I've seen too many people coddle their friends and contribute to their bad habits. I can spend time with someone, be nice, and still drop a dose of reality.

There's only so many times I can hear a friend tell me they're depressed while drinking. Guess what? You're going to have to do something about that.

I have depression, and have had difficulties with drinking, weed use, etc. I'd rather a friend be straightforward with me than keep simping for alcohol/weed or whatever the fuck. I do appreciate your concern for his feelings though.
