After just finishing rewatching the OG Turtles series, I think her redesign for the red sky seasons was an improvement. I love the beautiful blue eyes they gave her

I don't like her outfit tho. It looks boring

Fun fact: the 1st season of TMNT 87, often considered the best season with the best animation, was actually animated by Toei in Japan. Season 2 and onwards, it was animated domestically and didn't have as much care put into it and it shows >_>

In the Micheal bay movie april was very clearly the stories protagonist when usually she is a supporting character

I never saw the second one with Stephen Amell though so I don't know if she has a smaller role in that one

The first Michael Bay one was decent but had a lot of flaws
But it's still overall an enjoyable ninja turtles movie

the best tmnt movie is a animated movie called turtles forever, it's basically multiverse story where the 2003 cartoon turtles/1987 cartoon turtles/original mirage comic turtles all team up

Parents complained about the violence in the first 90s live action turtle movie so the turtles weren't allowed to use their weapons in the second film
Leading to hilariously stupid scenes like mickey using sausage links as nunchucks instead of just using his own nunchucks he clearly is carrying with him

I've seen Turtles Forever and it was pretty good. I never watched the 2003 series, but I liked seeing the '87 turtles again

Look at it this way
The first love action movie Is a really good adaptation of the comic book
It's dark it's gritty it's meant to be taken seriously

The second movie is a good adaptation of the 80s cartoon
Its bright it's colorful it's funny and imaginative

I do like the 80s cartoon, but they used their weapons there too because all the dudes were robots >_>

The one thing I did hear is that the 3rd live action movie is a complete trash fire and i should avoid it at all costs

2003 series is great if you liked the gritty/dark stuff from the original movie

Yeah the third live action movie is awful
The turtles and April end up going back in time to feudal Japan and meet a little boy named yoshi
Samurai from the past come to the future and casey Jones hangs out with them
