Area 15 and the Pinball HoF are the TITS
Spend at least a day with zero on the agenda literally just walking up and down the strip. There's a ton of cool shit to see just by existing there.
Make like, one "nice" dinner reservation and spend the rest of your meals being impulsive. While you're walking around you'll pass a shit ton of restaurants with menus on the wall that all sound phenomenal. You'll want to leave yourself time and stomach room to try what you want.

That's a lot of it. My one rule is don't overbook yourself. Nobody wants to be on one of those vacations where you gotta be up at 7am sharp for a 730 breakfast reservation which has to be done by 9 in order to rush out to your hoover dam tour at 10 which needs to be done by noon for your 1pm lunch reservation followed by a trip to area 15 which has to be short so we can make our dinner by 6 which needs to be quick because our show starts at 8

That shit sucks. Be impulsive. Don't overplan. Just go without an agenda, take a day for pinball and area 15, and spend the rest doing whatever looks fun

As my first vacation on my own as an adult I will be doing this. It's always been my dream to go on a do nothing vacation

Nevada autumns can be tricky. They are generally nice but they can occasionally have lingering summer heat or even a brief winter preview.

When i was there in 2018:

I went to some club at one of the strips. Forgot the name.

Watched a movie at tgeater.

Went hiking at red rock canyon (my fave!l)

Went hiking at grand canyon (like 4 hours away. Didnt really enjoy it since i was hungover.)

Went to lake meade ( part of a group that rented a boat and we swam in the lake)

Uhh that is all i remember

There are a few notable gay bars/clubs in downtown and near UNLV.

If you're into hiking, Red Rock is beautiful and only about 30 minutes west of the strip.
