I have to admit that in the past two days Ive seen some very disturbing YouTube videos that have made me question my pro-choice stance. Ultimately I still believe its the womans choice, but I no longer believe its a clean cut issue. Anyone who thinks it is should probably go watch some of those undercover videos.

I know its never a popular opinion here to say the other side might have a point. But its worth considering that the other side may have a point, at least in some small way.

I'm pro choice, always have been.

That said, RvW was quite frankly a questionable ruling and even RBG expressed this sentiment.
Congress had 50 years to codify abortion into law and failed to do so.

Now it will be up to the states to decide how they want to treat the issue. It's quite clear many people don't realize this, including the far left low information mods popping off in this very topic.

When I leave the UK (and that's not an if) there's a chance I'll stay in Europe in which case I'd either go to Germany, Norway or Sweeden.

Maybe Denmark but who likes Denmark?

I'm know where he's reported to be from, and I know there are at least a few people who say he's lying. I personally don't know or need to know what's true, because this topic would be violently stupid wherever it was made.

Regardless, that's what I said "The government of the United States" instead of "My country's government" or some variant. Didn't matter who made it or where they were from, but I also didn't want to assume.

Pro choice. I'm not American, but even here in the Netherlands, overturning Roe vs Wade was the talk of the day.

We recently changed a law here that required women to undergo a mandatory waiting period after realizing they're pregnant, before they were allowed to get an abortion. This waiting period was initially deemed necessary so that, and I quote, "women wouldn't make a hasty decision". That law is now gone, because women don't need some stupid mandatory waiting period before they know what they want.

So the Netherlands is moving in the right direction. The US is going in reverse.

agreed- if the goal is avoiding suffering of the fetus, the less developed the fetus is the less suffering is caused when it is aborted (if the goal is minimizing suffering in general, letting women decide whether they want to abort definitely will produce drastically less total suffering)
