I bought this for my wife on her Switch a while back, full price and she didn't really get into it. Amazes me that I picked up My Time at Portia for her on there for around 4 instead, and she dumped over 50 hours into that.

What I'd seen of RF4, and played of it, felt pretty good / fun. I just wasn't a fan of the youthful look of the main character male or female. Gameplay was pretty great though.

Thanks TroutPaste for Downwell ! At this point unless a game is in first person, every Steam game is either in my library or in my wishlist lol

I mean it wasn't like tiktok video flip out but just like, apparently someone's food was missing a condiment and she came back and opened up the entire thing there and asked me what I saw and asked if I saw what was missing and wanted to talk to the manager

I thought that i would like it because of how muck i like game like My Time at Portia and Stardew Valley.
With how much your wife likes Portia you should get her My Time at Sandrock when it launches on consoles next year.

Gonna post a game that's on sale that I already own just to see if anyone might be interested in it.

I was gifted this via the last event after winning one of the raffle prizes and honestly, I had a decent time with it. It's a survival game without the harsher elements of survival, with more of an emphasis on world deconstruction and exploration, using materials gathered to craft new gear as per usual. The game also has the bonfire checkpoint system seen in Dark Souls, allowing you to reset the world state in that area, but you can also store materials via chest without using it which I quite liked.

Combat was hit or miss for me, but I thought it was a pretty zen, relaxing survival title that might be up the alley of some people here.

Anyone else wanna offer up some suggestions of games at all? I feel like I may miss a bunch of games that I could be into.

I've had Dysmantle on my wishlist for awhile, never pulled the trigger though. It sounds awesome.

I'll suggest Nightmare of Decay as a hidden gem of a game. It's $5 and while it's short, it's a nice throwback to the original resident evil, and it has pretty decent gunplay. Its meant to be replayed for challenge runs, I had a great time with it if you're into survival horror. Think there's a demo too. Just keep in mind the campaign is only about 2 hours ish. It has a survival wave mode and a randomly generated dungeon mode, on top of unlockables and such

Honestly, the moment that happens, I'll probably drop GF. I come here for my early 2000s forum vibe and have been frequenting GF long before I made an account lol. If it starts looking as uniform as the rest of social media, that'd suck.

I wouldnt doubt it, lol... maybe some sort of up/downvote system like Reddit has. We'll see...
