how much longer until im no longer able to infect others?? ive felt congested and stuffy with sore throat for legit 8-9 days straight

I think its 10 days from onset of symptoms? I dont actually remember. I think I only get 5 days from my work now, but Im through the worst of it already.

When I had it the doctor that saw me said fuck it and wrote my note for when I was symptom/fever free. I was able to get a few extra days of R&R instead of being thrust back to work in a mask.

You're probably not infectious anymore but personally I would avoid others until I was symptom-free.

If it was anything like my go with it, I was symptomatic as fuck but my test came back negative. Had to suffer 3 more days before I finally got a positive.

I want to go home to visit my family ive been waiting months since we have a week planned eachother they said its no big deal but I don twan tot get them sick. they said wait 2-3 days and then just come home but i dont wan ttoinfect them.

Well I'm definitely not an expert so I would say consult your primary care doctor, wait those two or three days, and then do whatever you and your family are comfortable with.

3 more days is fine. if have to see them wear mask for everyone else's protection (it's optional) i'm not a care provider.
if previously vaccinated. the illness is less severe and shorter than again omnicron evaded the vaccine so it doesn't impact it much.

As for me I'm waiting the full 10 days, July 2, just in time for the holiday weekend. Timing was kind of lucky for me I guess.

well the "fever" portion i haven't felt in like 3 days but ive just felt the same for the last 3 days
