So since even more characters have come out has anything updated who the best team members for characters are? Im curious who Eulas best partners are now since I doubt Beidou makes the cut over Kuki now? Not even sure if Rosaria is still one of her best partners either.

Was Beidou ever one of Eula's best? Beidou doesn't get as much mileage out of Eula's slow claymore attacks and all Eula gets is a shield. Surely there are better electro options. I use Raiden, but I would assume Fischl would provide better application if you had no one else to work with.

My team is Raiden Diona Rosaria, but you could probably make a case for Kuki Layla ???. I doubt that's as good simply for energy, though. Raiden is great as a change up that refuels everyone else.

I have no idea what my pity as I haven't logged in forever and apparently it wipes history. But logged in to try get Yae Miko after not playing since the Childe fight (played a few months after). 50 summons and only 5 purples. I forgot how ass the drop rate was in this game

75-90 with 90 being quite rare. Its honestly the most generous gacha Ive played for whatever thats worth

So I guess the challenge will be how many can I farm up in 1 evening with all this content available to me

You had pretty bad luck on the 4-stars, too. In 5 ten-pulls you're guaranteed a minimum of 5 four-stars. However, after five of them, one would expect you to get one early. (Maybe you did, once, and pity rotated to a sooner position in the ten-pull.)

Good luck with Miko. I still haven't pulled her, and I'm questioning whether I should, but I wasn't able to play the last few days, so it wasn't fresh in my mind.

Thinking back, I have to be pretty close to pity (unless they reset it from when I last played) because I distinctly remember logging in at Raiden Shogun release, tossing a handful of summons at her and not getting her. I also think I'm on the good side of the 50/50 as I am pretty sure I got Jean last from that summon and Ganyu before that

If you got stardust/starglitter from the pulls you did you should be able to buy some from the shop which will get you closer. There's 5 in the dust shop each month, and then however much glitter you have can be exchanged. Unfortunately there's no events active right now. There's Spiral Abyss but that's only like 2 or 3 pulls depending on how built your team is.

Been saving for Raiden... Hoping I have good luck tomorrow. I think I'm at 40-50 of my pity so should get it. But I'll settle for Jean instead of Qiqi for the 5th time...

Got her. Took 57 pulls today. So was probably 20 or so into pity when I picked up the game again today.

Now to figure out if she's actually any good and to do some story missions

And yes, they changed four characters' visual designs due to restrictions in China. Chinese players are required to play with the new "skin." Everyone else has it as an option, but obviously they're what gets used in the cutscenes. (The others were Jean, Mona, and Amber.)

Yae's good, she (and every electro character) got a pretty large buff recently with the new Dendro element that boosts their damage significantly.

Ah so the issue for me will be that the only dendron character I have is the free collei. Dendro characters didn't exist when I last played

There arent many of them yet still anyways. Your Traveler can use it because theyre special. Other than that theres just Collei, the archon and Tighnari I think, but more are on the way eventually

It just occurred to me, it's the Monday of the patch and we have no drip marketing. Maybe no one new in 3.4? Early speculation was Al-Haitham would be in it.

Yeah if you walk over to Sumeru you can switch your Traveler to Dendro and he's a pretty decent support for now. There's also the free Collei from Abyss if you're using him elsewhere, but Traveler will definitely be better since it's easier to get his constellations. We should be getting another 4 star dendro soonish, not in this upcoming patch but maybe 3.4 or 3.5. But yeah the drip is MIA so who knows.

I have a feeling she'll be for an advanced strategy where you stack the deck in favor of doing normal attacks and spam physical damage. I've already done that with the existing line-up, a weapon, and the food that reduces the cost of a normal attack by 1 colorless. So honestly, I'm kinda glad they waited on her.

I have yet to invite any of the other characters for a duel. I probably need to get on that, but Diluc, Kaeya, and Fischl/Sucrose are getting it done just fine against the AI.

I'm having issues placing stuff in my teapot. I'm only trust level 2 but it says I can place 2 companions but when I go to place the second one it says I have reached my furnishing limit. It clearly says companion 1/2 and in the types thing at the top it says 24/200.

It does this with some of the game things too but I figured that may be a limit I can't see but with companion I'm stumped as I'm clearly below the limit it says

EDIT: Oh does the other companion have to go inside maybe. Either way that's stupid as it doesn't physically tell you that

You might be hitting the load limit. There's an indicator that turns green/yellow/red as you place more complicated items. And then you can't place any more. So if you're trying to place them somewhere that already has a lot of furnishings placed it might be too much stuff.

When did you and your wife start playing Genshin? Because there was a large time of maintenance when you couldnt do anything in the teapot but some farming and buying stuff from the teapot shop and every week they gave us a bunch of tea pot currency for the maintenance down time.

I started playing before her but both started before teapot existed. We both only completed the teapot quest this week though.

I guess it's possible I logged in briefly after teapot was implemented without ever doing the quest and she didn't until this week so it gave me the compensation whilst I wasn't playing but didn't for her as she never logged in after teapot was created until now.

That 45000 currency is kinda weird.

As for the companions, I agree with HDT that it's probably the load limit. Companions cap you out REALLY quickly.

I was trying to put down the companion in an area that has nothing else there so don't know what the issue was. It let me place them inside but not outside.

Also because I've just been doing quests and sidegames, I forgot how bad upgrading virtually anything in this game was. I had just been cruising based on my Tartaglia but decided to look into upgrading stuff after reaching world level 7 and it all came back. Guess I'll just try get like 2 people to level 90 and level 90 weapons first. Although I need to work out where to find Yae Miko mats if she's gonna be one of them. Only just met Ayako (behind the screen) in the quest

You can get by on level 80 characters. Don't rush. Might influence your spiral abyss runs, but otherwise not urgent. Let it happen over time.

Yae mats are deep into Inazuma. If you're just doing the early quest stuff, Yae's gonna be level 40 for a while.

On the plus side, you can cheese Oceanids with Qiqi just meleeing it down the full way

On the downside, it takes forever.

Only certain types of characters really benefit from going to 90. Yae Miko will appreciate it, since she benefits from Dendro reactions which like level 90, as do any anemo characters who like to use Swirl. But you can prioritize other things first. Most other damage dealers are fine with stopping at 80, and many supports that aren't themselves contributing damage can stop at 60 or 70.

Upgrading weapons is much easier so you can go to 90, but if you're low on exp crystals just prioritize the DPS character weapons and supports can be stopped at 80. Leveling from 80-90 eats a lot of crystals.

Think I'll just try get Tartaglia to 90 for now because these drop rates are horrendous. Killed 5 world level 7 Oceanids and not even seen a single purple ascension mat drop, nevermind gold. So crafting 6 golds purely from green and blues is gonna take a lot of kills

It's a slow process, but you also need a lot of the boss specific mats, and transforming one type of gemstone into another is fairly cheap, so you end up building up the ascension gemstones more quickly than you do anything else.

Well I just got him to 90 and it was all on blues and greens because Oceanids didn't drop a single purple or gold in any of runs. Don't know how many kills total it took me but it was a lot
