Dragon 10/28/22 7:27:27 AM #323:	I started exploring the entrance a bit and was immediately reminded of that Michael Bay movie The Island. Everyone being "dolls" and all the white, futuristic scenery made it seem that way. And then we see Yoshizawa's father talking to someone with red hair in a hospital bed. After that I started getting a weird feeling. At first I began thinking he was the ruler of this palace. I mean, we did just get introduced to him randomly during New Year's so it made sense. Then I went passed the first safe room. Yoshizawa started having these mind attacks but it only happened to her and not Joker or Akechi. I continued walking and was greeted by a voice on the overhead speakers. It was the palace ruler. He said to meet me downstairs. While waiting for the reveal I fully expected to see Yoshizawa's father but that's not what happened. I did not expect to see Dr. Maruki and for him to be the palace ruler. And then an even bigger reveal-- Kasumi is not Kasumi! She's Sumire Yoshizawa! And she's been mind warped by Dr. Maruki this entire time! That was one of the biggest holy shit moments of the entire game. And then he took her. I defeated the boss after he sent him after me. He was a fairly mild boss who didn't do much damage to either Joker or Akechi. And defeating him with an improvised Showtime! was pretty badass. Now I'm out of the palace and I have to wait a week to go back in. I called Morgana handsome and he started to remember his previous life as a cat. Seeing how their lives would have been different was pretty interesting. All of them seemed a lot happier, especially Ryuji. After battling a few easy demons, I made my way through the palace to Maruki once again. Sumire was there and I battled with her. The battle was fairly simple and I countered mostly everything she hit me with so she effectively defeated herself. Then Sumire got taken over by her Persona and I was about to get killed but my boy Ryuji stormed into battle and saved me. Ann also joined the fight alongside Akechi, but she was mostly useless with her fire skills so I swapped her out with Yusuke. With his ice skills being effective against the demons Maruki was summoning, I was able to baton pass to Joker and do high AoE damage. This technique worked and I was able to exit the palace and save Sumire but I will need to go back by the beginning of February to take care of Maruki once and for all. --- Secret Board Report: 201-200! Dragon 11/06/22 3:54:29 AM #337:	Is this palace played normally like the others and should I defeat Maruki as soon as I can? I got to the next day. While I was asleep I was visited subconsciously by Lavenza. Been a while since I've seen her. She informed me of a few things and then contacted me again the following day through the phone. She said she didn't have much time to talk and that she wanted to tell us something important in person. We met up in the nurse's office at school and told us about how Maruki is a Persona user and that by stealing his heart we'll return reality back to normal. Sumire was eavesdropping in on the conversation so it looks like she'll be joining us as well. I don't like Sumire's new hair. It looks much better before when she had it all tied up. There was just one red aura enemy that is giving me trouble but I've been using Ann to put him to sleep so I can technical with Sumire and Joker. And I like how Sumire's Faith Persona was reborn! Dragon 11/18/22 7:26:46 AM #350:	Was able to play today! But only for about an hour. I was able to finish the first section of Maruki's palace. Really enjoying the layout of the dungeon so far. The bosses of the first section were pretty easy. They had a decent size pool of HP but I utilized Ann to lull them to sleep and started hitting them with technical hits. They went down pretty fast after that. I'm still also using Morgana and Sumire in my lineup. I feel bad for not using Ryuji as much anymore but I swap him in sometimes when I need a heavy hitter. After that section I saved and started the next day. To my surprise I was finally able to go out and do something! The first day I didn't have access to hang out with anyone except for Ohya, so I headed on over to the Crossroads Bar and got her to the next rank. The very next day I was visited by Ann before school. She told me she needed to talk to me in her room afterwards and that I should go over after. I already have Ann at max rank so I didn't think it had anything to do with that. Before heading over I got a message from Sumire asking to hang out and I thought about ditching Ann but I didn't. Good thing too because her Persona ranked up. The following two days I went over to both Ryuji's and Futaba's rooms and the same thing happened. Pretty cool that I got to see how their rooms were decorated. Especially liked the posters on Ryuji's wall. A few other things I did were upgrade my weapons / armor for Joker, Morgana, Ann and Sumire and finally after not seeing her for a while, I was able to visit the church and spent time with Hifumi Togo. I don't like some of the new clothes that all the characters are wearing, but I do really like Hifumi's. I also got Iwai to rank 9. Pretty fucked up how that guy tried killing Iwai's son but it was a nice character moment for Iwai to finally tell his son the truth about his parents. I always choke up a bit when I read dialogue coming from a single parent. The next day I was approached by Yusuke and now he wants to hang out, but I'll be saving that for another time.
