That last monologue was fucking killer. ~~Howard's~~ death was fucked too. Just disturbing. Poor guy. Lalo is a fucking bastard. Dunno how or if Kimmy is gonna make it out of this. It's just an extra so I dunno if it means anything.~~ I'm really not sure where they go from here. I can't believe there's 5 more eps left. Anyway) ~~It was nice how we got that little Easter egg with Saul starting to say It was Ignacio,~~ not me when Lalo tied him up and gagged him. All these years later from what was originally a throwaway line in Breaking Bad, and weve now come full circle. We now know exactly the context of why he would have said that line, and just to make sure there were no loose ends, Mike specifically told Saul that Lalo is not coming back and not Lalo is dead meaning that by the time hes kidnapped by Walt and Jesse, its perfectly reasonable for Saul to assume that Lalo has come back to finish the job, because in his mind theres no one else that would be after him. Now we can finally put this question to rest and properly appreciate that line from BB. Vince Gilligan is a story telling genius. Another thing that will really make future BB rewatches more interesting is knowing exactly whos buried underneath the meth lab. We as viewers will now be able to watch any BB scenes that take place there and no longer just think of it as a lab that Gus created, because now its taken on a whole new meaning. It can now be viewed as Gus crowning achievement because its where he quite literally buried his competition, and knows hes down there almost like a trophy. A Salamanca buried right underneath his own creation that was designed for him to take over their role in the first place. This is going to be the giant "step to far" in the shenanigans they have been pulling, esp. with Howard's death and Mike telling them to keep telling the lie that they started (oof). As I posted upthread, I think Kim will eventually go the Saul (in BB) route and get a new identity/life somewhere else. She's either going to somehow face indictment for Howard's death, or stupidly get caught up in Fring or Salamanca's business and have to disappear. I think the most brutal/brilliant part of that episode was that Lalo breaking into Saul's apartment, shooting Howard, and sending Kim off to kill Gus was JUST A RUSE to get security away from the laundromat. She has to go away somehow, either by going to jail. leaving Albuquerque on her own, or starting a new life. And we still need to see what the post-BB timeline does.
