It is 100% Vince's fault.

And 100% that idiot amateur's fault.

It doesn't happen if Vince didn't ignore multiple industry professionals who all told him it's impossible to do any quicker while still being safe and also choosing to trust the one amateur asshole who claimed it could be done faster. He didn't give a fuck if it compromised safety.

Alright that's fair.

My sister works in theater and has done shows where they "fly" people. I told her the details on Owen and she could not believe it. There are like a dozen different things her small theater does to prevent stuff like that and for a huge company to do none of them is so insane. Her theater would literally be shut down if they were that lax.

Listening to a lot of news and sports radio over the weekend I get the sense that the current allegations aren't going to do much to change the general public's perception of Vince and his contributions to sports entertainment

Only if new allegations don'r say, "He killed a guy."

The way I see it, pro wrestling hasnt been a big force in pop culture since the early 2000s or so and is generally considered trashy and stupid.

The man on the street probably cant pit much if any detail to Vinces name but his products reputation is in the gutter regardless.

I really am not sure why people are ragging on me so much. I tried to make a point, only to get railed for something else. Hyper focusing on the "respect thing" rather than my main point of "Wishing death is wrong."

Well hey, good news because I think your main point is also wrong. If you don't personally want to wish death on a monster, that's fine for you, but anyone who does is certainly within their rights to do so. That laundry list of horrific crimes posted is more than enough of a reason to say the world would be better of without him. The sooner the better. Especially considering he's retiring to a life of luxury and privilege.
