Bought the ps5 version of Judgement by mistake, need the ps4 version. am I just screwed here? Its not cross-buy and its been more than 14 days to refund.

Used the online live chat feature on PSN but the 3 separate times I asked for help, they said they either redirected me or said hope we helped! Thank you and ended the chat without resolving anything

I asked for an exchange on my account to remove the ps5 version of judgement and replace it with the ps4 version of Judgement, but nothing. Next Im gonna ask them to remove the ps5 version and give me a voucher for the ps4 game or $30 credit, which is how much I bought it for. Any help?

Yeah they are dicks about it, it happened to me with some indie game back on PlayStation 3 and they told me just to suck it up

No, I dont even own a PS5, its impossible for me to download it. I asked for them to replace it in my account with the PS4 version, but no go. Total stonewall.

All 3 times they did the generic Thank you! May I help you with anything else today?, but then immediately ended the chat without even giving me time to respond. I dont have the chat logs and the give feedback on chat button did not do anything useful, no box to write feedback or questionnaire or anything. This was possibly one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had.

If you didn't download the game, you don't technically own it yet.

It's in the terms of service.

An automatic refund should be given to your account.

Its either if you DLd it already, or if youve had it for 14 days. I bought this a couple weeks ago on sale and was planning on starting it soon, so when I noticed it wasnt in my library on ps4 purchases, I realized something was wrong, only today.

im going to try calling a phone number as my last chance. Otherwise Ill just buy Judgement ps4 if its still on sale

Hmm, maybe its because I'm in Canada and we have better consumer protection laws, but when I bought something by accident they refunded it no problem because I had not initiated the download yet.

I looked it up to see if the PS5/PS4 dual entitlement was there or not and it isn't. I've never dealt with Sony's customer service but I heard it's like pulling teeth getting refunds.

I think in this matter they'll understand and throw you a bone because you have no PS5 console anyway. They'd have to know it was a mistake and I hope it works out that way.

Keep contacting or keep holding until you get a live rep on the line.
