Mistakes happen with fast food. Customers have no right to cause a scene over an incorrect order. You think that's going to make employees want to help them?

And of course they locked the doors! It was almost midnight! They would have had to unlock them to let the customers in. You also literally cannot be locked in by a pushbar.

You're seriously going to imply that this was a premeditated attack? That Taco Bell conspired to let them in, quietly lock the door behind them, then refuse to fix the order so they could get the customers upset and then feel justified in dumping hot water on them?

Dude if mistakes happen in fast food then angry customers also happen because of those mistakes. At no point do you get to pour scalding hot water on them because you refuse to fix those mistakes.

Where are you getting the audio? What was the order? What was the error? Who "refused" to fix it?

Customers have no right to get so mad over mistakes. I can guarantee you everyone I know would offer worse service to an irate customer. You act like angry customers aren't almost always wrong.

Would you agree that the situation calls for it if someone is attacking you while unarmed? Keep in mind that the scalding water is less deadly than unarmed attacks.

In some cases sure but I would argue a good chunk of those are HIGHLY unlikely. Like unarmed without anything to use you are unlikely to maim a fucker unless you were Super Man or fighting the world frailest person.

And that is also based on just how people fight in general. Where as throwing anything that can cause burns is going to be SPECIFIC for the purpose of causing that level of damage.

From the footage I highly doubt the situation ever calls for it. Because again just the damage you can do with it is going to be an instant thing.

Just read the article, and if what the family said was all true, fuck those employees/manager. The family should sue more than a million. The granny who burned herself with hot coffee at McDonalds got way more I think. And it was their fault too.

I'm also literally watching a video where I don't see them fully walk past a counter, don't raise their arms in a threatening gesture, and don't pull a weapon.
