My first boss ended up quitting. He hired his girlfriend on at level 2 when you're supposed to start out as a trainee. Then she was hanging up on customers to get fast call times. She actually got promoted to level 3 before they found out. She got fired once they found out, and then he quit when they fired her.
My second boss was a snake. He got promoted to team lead to fill the spot of my first boss. You were supposed to have taken calls for every ISP the call center supported, but he never took calls for the main ISP we supported in the Austin call center. Not sure how he got promoted. He was relying on me to tell him how to deal with stuff with that ISP. Not sure what happened to his job status, but he ended up going to prison for identity theft after I quit the company.

I had a boss at this job who didn't understand how time worked. I was working graveyard shifts at the time, and I was going on vacation. They were changing schedules around at the time and they told me to just start the new schedule after my vacation was over. That meant My vacation ended Sunday and then I would start working on Tuesday. His schedule was broken out by the hour of each day, and he would put an X on the hours you were expected to work. My schedule had an X in the 12am hour of Tuesday that week. The old schedule had me coming in on 12AM Monday. I didn't have a whole lot of trust in this guy, so I stayed up on Sunday night just in case something weird happened. At 12:01am, I got a call from the person who was working from 4pm to midnight wondering if I was coming in. I told her I wasn't on the schedule and was supposed to start on Tuesday. At 12:15am, I got a call from the boss and he was pissed. I told him he didn't have me scheduled. He tried to get me to believe that 12AM is actually part of the previous day and the clocks don't actually move over until 12:00:01am. With that, he also believed that if he had an X on the schedule for 12AM on Tuesday, it somehow meant I was supposed to be working 12AM Monday instead. I tried to explain that when you look at a digital clock, the date changes exactly at 12:00:00, and his schedule definitely had me working on Tuesday at 12AM - 8AM. Even if he thought I was supposed to work Monday at 12, the X's he had on the schedule were for Tuesday at 12AM, Tuesday at 1AM, Tuesday 2AM, and so on. It wouldn't make sense for me to come in on Monday at 12AM and then leave at 1AM, and then work Tuesday 1AM to 8am. He said he didn't have anyone else to show up and work, so I wen tin any way. He went to the director of the NOC that day, who essentially told him that he was a dumbass and to drop it. The woman from earlier in this story also called me one day because she had the same argument with him. That guy ended up getting fired, but I can't remember why.
