None. I've never had any sort of debt.

I pay my rent, bills and whatnot. Then the rest I spend on vices and hobbies and whatnot.

I never buy stuff that I don't have money for. I never went to university or college, I don't drive, I don't have a mortgage.

That is not a good way to word it because mortgages and car payments are technically debt. "Debt" should be about student loans and credit cards and such.

Started working at 15

Got a student loan and a Firestone credit card at 18

auto loan at 19

mortgage at 23

I was pretty much debt free for about 8 months after we sold our first house and lived with my parents while looking for a new oneoh wait still had a car payment lol

It's not as simple but it's not hard either.

The key is I don't spend money I don't have and don't try to live beyond my means.

Roughly 70%, if you count all the way back to starting my first part time job at 16.

I lived with my parents for 8 years of that, then got my first house. Have had at least that mortgage or student loan debt ever since.

There's no such thing is good debt. That's a Boomer term, when one could reasonably hope to pay off a mortgage with a high school degree. Today it's just a way to justify overspending.
