Yeah, even though I still associate Veronica Taylor with Ash since I haven't really watched Pokemon since mid-to-late Hoenn, it's crazy to think that Sarah's been voicing him for much longer (along with the rest of the post-4Kids cast).

It's crazy how 4Kids just let their golden goose go, but maybe TPC also had something to do with it. Either way, I feel that 4Kids never quite recovered after they lost Pokemon.

What a great gig for a VA. She's had steady work since she was 19 years old.

Pokemon may have just been too expensive given its wild success. They probably got a great deal given the anime is a big part that launched Pokemon's huge success. And they were getting into financial trouble around the time they let go of pokemon, so maybe they just couldn't keep it.
