i have a curved Samsung odyssey monitor at 1080p.

I just want to play triple AAA pc games with nice frames.

want advice before I pull the trigger on the parts

Actually yeah, that's a good catch. With only a single 1 tb ssd, you're going to run out of space pretty quickly TC. You need more storage unless you plan on deleting games constantly.

I don't really see a convincing reason to spend more than about $150 on a motherboard.

Yeah like if you're gonna spend this much on a pc with last generation hardware, you might as well wait for the new gen hardware coming out soon.

Get a 1-2 TB HDD, move things to the SSD when you play them, but keep them on the HDD when they arent going to be used for a little while.

Looks solid to me though Id shave some more off the price by going to a 5800x CPU. PS5 and the series X only have 8 core CPUs so very few games are going to be using more than that.

it was on sale so I got it for ~150 cheaper
