There will always be poor people, because the people in charge want it that way. How do you think they got in charge? They exploited the common people. Tricked them into voting for them so they could do a 180 on policy and profit off of the power instead. As long as money is in politics, there will always be poor people. Humans have always exploited their fellow human beings to keep power. Its been that way since the beginning of mankind, with slavery. Weve tricked ourselves into thinking humans have evolved since slavery, but reallyweve just adapted. Humans will always exploit other human beings, because this species is inherently greedy to the core. Until humans learn to become more empathetic towards our own that struggle, well only inevitably lead ourselves blindly to our own extinction.
