I got to the point where I could frequently beat all 11 stages in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair Hard Mode. The kicker is that I never had decent enough internet while the game was active, so I did it all solo.

Everyone nowadays seems to talk about how difficult Lion King on the SNES is to beat, but I beat it on a rental when I was a kid.

I used to be able to beat Shadow Link in Zelda II reliably without the corner-crouching exploit, but once I became aware of that, I can't keep myself from using it whenever I get frustrated.

Same here. Was a few years older. You could misjudge once, but anything more and you were KO'd

I don't know but Super Meat Boy was a particularly painful experience. But I never even did the really hard stuff in that game. I just remember the end being really frustrating and difficult.

Halo 2 on Legendary is another one. Much worse in co-op than alone oddly enough.

King's Quest III. If it's about manual dexterity I dunno. Probably Halo on Legendary or Ninja Gaiden. Hard to really say.

I stopped Elden Ring at the end so far lol. Just got distracted tho. Im actually in a very easy area Im OP for. But that one chick did kick my ass about 15 times when I tried her.

Probably the Hotline Miami series. I'm really awful at real time hard games. Give me a turn based game and I'm great though!

for me, it was because my PS4 messed up my disc, but I was making progress before that in Sekiro.

Last 2 bosses tooke like 3-4 hours of judt fighting them. And I used adderall, which peaks my focus. I was waiting to get some to finish Elden Ring, but then I decided to quit taking it all together lol.

I dunno, something on NES. There was a 2 player game called Legendary Wongs was a bitch. Rambo was really hard to figure out, as well as The Goonies 2. Kid Icarus is up there, and Im sure theres a few more that I am not remembering right now.

As a kid, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out. Well really just Punch-Out. Mr Dream was nasty but like most games it's just doing it over and over again and figuring it out.

As an adult I'm not sure. Maybe Sekiro? I've lost patience for the hard stuff in recent years.

I've beaten a handfull of games mentioned here.

Super Monkey Ball 2 may be mine.
That game at the end is really something.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma on the old PS3.

Maybe DMC 3?
Although, Sonic 06 was probably the absolute hardest to beat at how often you die for things you have no control over.
