A funeral screening of Batgirl will be held on the Warner Bros studio lot next week for people who worked on the film. What happens after that is unclear. Some reports say the footage will be locked away in a vault forever (I like to imagine it's the warehouse from the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark.) Others say that Warner Bros will destroy the footage to show the IRS they will never be able to make a profit from it and try to get the full tax write-off immediately instead of receiving it in instalments.

If someone were to sneak a video camera into the funeral screening and leak the footage, that would be terrific. I wouldn't count on it though, as Scoob: Holiday Haunt had its funeral screening last week and that hasn't leaked, as far as I'm aware. Speaking of which, Scoob being cancelled isn't just one film, but presumably the whole Hanna Barbera cinematic universe down the tubes. Then again, the first film's critical and box office underperformance leading to the sequel initially going direct to streaming probably put a stop to those plans already.

The only way for your show to be safe nowadays is to throw it on Crunchyroll it seems. They just keep getting bigger!

Is Crunchyroll a good example here? Crunchyroll largely deals in anime which is infamous for having a lot of series that are one and done. Like I see people complain about a Netflix series only making it to season 3 but an anime even reaching season 3 is a lot!

Yeah but that's not, like, ON Crunchyroll when shows don't get more seasons. In fact they've been known to get series or sequels made for shows that weren't going to get one with their own funding!

Going to be pretty disgusted but also unsurprised when most of the animosity towards Ezra dissapears if this movie slaps, assuming he does keep his nose clean from now on.

To be fair, I think like 30 minutes were chopped out from the film before its theatrical release so it's possible it wasn't the theatrical cut that was screened for test audiences. To be also fair, it's not like the editing was the only criticism of the film, although for something that tries to do so much I can believe that editing it down would only exacerbate any already-existing problems.
