80/80 so I will explain some more.
A big piece of modern marketing is to heavily invest in content creators to to generate buzz for a product that a company is producing. I'm no marketing person, but it's pretty obvious this has been going on for as long as Web 2.0 has been a thing.
Marketing closely works with content creators to promote products in exchange for content creators making money from said products. If your product has enough of a fanbase, content creators may even collude and create a type of heel / face gimmick between them.
Most of the people who watch creator's content do not realize this is happening, or actively enjoy the drama.
What I find depressing is that there are a lot of people who don't realize this is happening, and that the creators themselves are likely making more money from this than the people watching the videos are making in their own professions.

Also there's other points to this, like how games marketing will frequently provide kick backs to these creators such as free loot boxes or other promotional items and money for their continued support of the product. The very best content creators will be paid tens of thousands of hours to play a game for an hour during important product placement events, such as during the release of a new product.

Whenever someone sings fansa and they don't input their name instead of mona at the mona-beam part I'm like "Are you even a real aidoru?".
