Those are the exact two I want to get rollback too. If I could have a season 3 for SCVI and rollback I'd double dip on all the DLC.

As much as I'd love for Smash Ultimate to get a rollback netcode overhaul...it's not gonna happen. At least not on the Switch. So many multiplatform fighting games are getting rollback netcode...except the Switch versions because of "technical issues."

The best thing we can hope for with that is a port for the next Nintendo console with some improvements.

There may be a chance of SC getting it, but I highly doubt it. Ultimate will probably never get it because:

1) lol Nintendo

2) rollback is much harder to work with 4 player games

3) A lot of multiplatform games don't implement rollback on the Switch, so I suspect doing so much harder on that system to implement.

More a workaround for it than a smokescreen. Also, even in the best situation, there's only so much an ISP can do, especially when there's significant physical distance between the two players. Physics is a bitch like that.
