Still kind of silly because the virus probably wouldn't reach in any reasonable amount of time unless it travels at FTL speeds. If they shared their secrets with us I would trust them. If they just told us to take a pill or whatever, I'd be a bit more suspect. But that's also how The Matrix starts, soooo.
