New York State Governor Kathy Hochul has announced the launch of the New York State Health Care and Mental Hygiene Worker Bonus (HWB) Program, a state-sponsored effort to recognize the contributions of front-line healthcare workers throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

I assume that's because even a lot of doctors say it, but like 80-90% of the work is done anyone eho isn't a doctor? (Nurses, PAs, etc)

Weird to entirely not include them though.

I just spoke with HR, Attending physicians do not get the bonus.
