Particularly, primarily single-player games like JRPGs that tend to be pretty long (40 hours at minimum, but far more if you try to experience all that they have to offer).

I know it took me 100+ hours to beat Persona 5 and Xenoblade 3--each one in around a month's time--and I don't know if I'd have been able to do so if I had more responsibilities on my plate aside from my job (such as a family).

I already have this year with Elden Ring. Hell my first playthrough was about 70 hours

I have a game that stopped measuring my time in hours...and now measures it in days.

I started playing the Trails/Kiseki series back in 2020 during COVID

I'm still only midway through the 5th game

Yeah but a 100 hour game is going to take me a couple months

Elden Ring in Feb/Mar

I make time for games even if it is at the expense of less important factors such as work, friends and family. If you can't handle me as a gamer then fire me, divorce me, get adopted, etc.

I dont game anymore, I have completely lost any interest in doing so.

I don't encounter games I like enough to play that long.

Pretty easily... Outside of work I don't do much so I have a lot of free time to game...

I'm up to 70ish on Witcher 3 and I don't know if I'm even close to the end, plus I haven't even looked into expansion content yet, plus I'm trying to do like every quest and get all points of interest. I won't be done within 100 hours, probably not even within 200. I think I've probably put over 1000 hours into Skyrim for example.

Yes, an rpg called Crystal Project that came out end of March. Dedicated all my free time to it. Probably my game of the year so far too.

I think I was 105 for base Witcher with most side quests done, and then another 40 for the 2 expansions

If you count the writing.

I plan on putting many hours into perfecting 100 Presidents

That's pretty much all I have. i don't play a whole lot of games, just the same games a lot

Although it's a lot easier now that I have a better PC. Fast forwarding 100-hour games into 20-25 hours is an underrated blessing <3

30-40 hour games? Dang near merely 8-12 hour investments now.

I put right around that in Elden Ring but I don't think it's something I could do very often.

And I see people talking about doing multiple runs of Elden Ring and I'm just thinking there is absolutely no way I would ever replay a game that is that long.

I play a lot of builders and sims so this is my default.

Sure, but not nearly as easy I used to. Feel as if "old me" could have completed Xenoblade 3 twice, with a third save for "funsies" by now.

Yeah, already did. Xenoblade 1 and Fallout New Vegas.

Yes. It takes me approximately 6 weeks to go through a game that's about 140 hours long. I have over 70 hours into Xenoblade Chronicles 3 right now.

yeah I am way behind the curve lol. I'm like 10 hours slower than average and still a few percentage points behind (for player averages listed in the app). Some of that has to do with interruptions mid-game and just leaving it open.

Sure if it can keep my interest that long and not feel pointlessly dragged out. Idk why people act like having a "life" means they can't play 100 hours and then proceed to play five 20 hour games effortlessly.

Probably but it's gonna take a looong time to get to 100 hours. I probably put about that much time on D2R when it came out last year.

i have 345 hours in elden ring and i didn't even do ng+ runs. just 100% on one playthrough.

ive prolly played over 100 hours of minecraft in the past two months. prolly bout to do more than 100 in conan exiles.

think i have 4000 hours combined for all elder scrolls/fallout games.

I finished a game of Civ III last month that took way more than 100 hours. Huge maps can be a pain sometimes.

Yeah, if they made a non-Boltrend Disgaea game. Preferably on the Vita though, since touch controls dont work well with regular Disgaea gameplay :<

I got Witcher 3 with all the expansions on sale back in March, and part of me wants to get into it, but I just cannot find the motivation to play any game, much less such a large and involved one.

I tell myself no but I have like 600 hours spent passively playing Dorfromantik, so I guess that's not entirely true.

Sure. I love time sink open world games where I can just wander around.

Yeah, I can't see myself commiting that much time to a single game anymore unless it was something truly exceptional. The last one for me was Persona 5, which took me about 130 hours to get through. I really enjoyed it, but towards the end it began to overstay its welcome. Because of work, my time is just too limited. And there's too much other media I want to consume, in the way of movies, TV shows, and books.

I do about 20 hours of gaming a month these days, minus April and October when I don't play. So yes, but it takes awhile.

Not as easily as I used to. I have done it a few times, say with Persona, but it took me months and months.

I'd have to really want to play it.

Horizon forbidden west and elden ring both got me close to 80 hours. I can't commit that much to other single player games unless I really enjoy them.

Beaides that all games I play are multiplayer pvp games

This is what keeps me from going back and playing Ogre Battle 64.

It would probably take me three months to get through it. By that point, I'd lose interest somewhere around the third quarter of the game. I never got the good ending in that one because you have to go through war as a nave pacifist to win.

Yeah I'm currently almost 150 hours in XBC3

It has to have a very engaging story. I'll probably get that in Digimon survive; finished two routes, and now want to do the Mugen recollection.

I think I'm actually 200 hours into Sunbreak right now for MH Rise. I'll probably spend 100 hours on some other game sooner or later but not anything this year that I'm expecting.

Not sure if I could with JRPGs because I lose interest with them easily. Persona 5 lost me at 40 hours
