How do you feel about organic food products?

There is a correct answer (or rather, there is an incorrect answer).
My personal opinion is that Organic labeling is nothing more than a marketing strategy. There is zero nutritional or dietary benefit to organic food products.
Sometimes there can be a taste difference, but that's entirely subjective.

There is an official organic certification through the USDA. Basically you need to not use synthetic pesticides/herbicides for at least 3 years. So there is a real difference but I have no idea what it means in terms of health or anything like that.

It comes off as a marketing tool to make some food sound better and healthier than they actually are.

Apart from the labeling being complete crap, there's no actual difference between that stuff and regular food. It's just new age hippie shit for people who don't like chemicals.

There is 100% zero nutritional or dietary difference. None.

And organic farms can still use pesticides, they're just organic pesticides. Which have far fewer testing and regulations.

Organic food is such an entitled/elitist product.

If you want to eat organic fine but don't pretend you're above food that's used inorganic fertiliser, pesticides or is genetically modified because chances are you're parents, grandparents and possibly great grandparents were fed on crops that were grown using artificial fertiliser and kept healthy with pesticides and in modern times been more nutritious and had a longer shelf life thanks to GM technology and combined saved billions from starvation.

That is false. Organic products still use pesticides, which are often less tested and less regulated.
These are facts.

Absolutely correct. GMO is another thing entirely, and I could rant about it for hours.

I am immediately skeptical anytime glyphosphates are mentioned,as it susually regarding Round Up.
Which I really don't want to get into.
Regardless, every scientific and scholarly study concludes that there is ko nutritional or health benefit to organic foods.

Do you mean at the grocery store?

In that case, I agree, marketing tactic.

If you mean real organic food, it's the reason I can't get store-bought fruits or veggies. I live near farms, and after getting the real thing right from the farm the stuff in the store just tastes awful.

It has benefits but isnt worth the price.

For example, organic bananas last longer than regular bananas. But at like a 14% price increase.

Organic boxed food is a major scam though. Like that "annies macaroni". You're still eating boxed prepared pasta.

That's less organic vs non and more fresh vs shipped.

I also grew up near the fruit belt in Michigan. Some stuff you can't beat.

Organic farmers are permitted to use specific variants of natural pesticides

To say it's all the same is to be ignorant. They aren't using like, DDT or that shit.
