one thing I like about Pillars of Eternity II Deadfire's aesthetic is that it's more colonial/Caribbean than medieval European. edit: if you're familiar with The Soldier Son trilogy, it has a frontier aesthetic, which I think is cool. --- https://streamable.com/zrtjki ... Copied to Clipboard!

There was a trilogy of DnD novels in like the 90s, based on Aztec or Mayan culture https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maztica_Trilogy?wprov=sfla1 It's set in the same world that Drizzt lives in, if you know that name. But set in that world's version of Mexico ... Copied to Clipboard!
