It's not much of a mystery. The man has stated himself that one of the primary reasons he's broken up with prior younger girlfriends is because they tend to make it clear they want to settle down after the age of 25. He's made it clear he's not interested in that level of investment. So these young women are still choosing to get with him for a while knowing that he's not planning to settle down. The public knows this, literally memes about this. Also keep in mind that the level of women who could catch his eye could get plenty of other men instead, yet they choose him despite the infamous rumors. He's like the embodiment of "don't hate the playa, hate the game ". There's no game if the women stop wanting to play. Doesn't matter if he approaches them first or vice versa, they said yes. They're to blame for their own losses when they don't snag a ring from him. Like this is so well known at this point, I would not be surprised to hear that some of these young women (knowing the trend) used Dicaprio as a vehicle to try and get famous themselves.
