My senior year now and I don't speak to people outside classes. I have no real world friends I'm in contact with.

Eh this kind of happens regardless. Freshman year of college I felt like I had 100 friends and I was really immersed in campus culture. Senior year I had just a few friends and I only went to campus to go to class or print something. The college experience is mostly freshman year. You're getting older and will eventually grow out of the casual sex/get fucked up every night mindset. Before you know it you will move to a suburb and be really happy to live somewhere with low crime and good public schools.

its hard to form new friendships in your adult years
it gets even harder every year you get older
in your 30s you might see your friends once every 3 weeks if you are all busy.

but if you want to improve your social life then its on you to do it
join some clubs.
do volunteer work
take up an outdoor hobby that gives you something to make small talk about

I agree with this. I majored in Political Science so I usually find a part time gig to work on elections when I'm not at work. Met a lot of cool nice people at church too and it's nice to see them most Sundays. I also started golfing and once I improve I was going to use meetup to do 18 holes with people and become friends with said people.

Your social life doesn't have to die, but the social life you had from middle school through early college doesn't last forever. You're getting old bucko!

Speak for yourself. My undergraduate degree was partying all the way through.

Im 35 now and can think of nothing worse than living in the suburbs.

If you want to make friends as an adult, TC, you just need to find situations where other adults are trying to do the same. Getting an expat job is easy mode for making new friends.
