This show feels so dated, but It's entertaining enough to keep watching. I'm mostly watching it for Walton Goggins. I understand this is a much younger Goggins and much earlier in his career, but so far Justified is a far superior show.

It is getting better in season 2, but it still feels so old lol. The use of nu metal and rock/rap is hilariously bad.

That said, it is kind of neat recognizing almost every location in the show having spent most of my life in or around Los Angeles (I even lived there for almost 4 years once) before noping the fuck out of California and moving to Arizona.

The most satisfying thing in the show so far is Armadillo getting shanked/killed in the holding cell.

Shane (Goggins) getting into cock fighting to catch a fugitive was hilarious.

Shane taking a shotgun blast through the door (and getting hit in the bulletproof vest) and getting knocked on his ass was hilarious. I had to rewind and watch that a few times lol.

Gilroy being shipped off to Mexico or Brazil or wherever the fuck is hilarious.

Dutch is a pretty cool and funny character.

Aceveda accusing a Black kid of stealing a bike and basically stealing the Black kid's bike was funny. It's cool he gave it back.

This show is so melodramatic, but it's entertaining. It's like a slightly better Law & Order. I will give it props for actually having Asians in it unlike most shows and movies.

I was disappointed that no one died during the money train heist. I thought for sure Ronnie and/or Lem were going to eat it during that finale.

I might start season 3 later tonight.

Ok, now watching episode 1 of season 3.

I finished the first episode of season 3. Marked spoilers going forward:

Aceveda is sticking around until his term in office begins. Claudette's pissed off about that.

Armenian's cut the feet off some Armenians and tried to ship them to some Armenian gang boss in Athens. Greece said fuck you to the request to pick him up, because they're mad at America.

Vic and the gang caught the guy selling stolen military MP5s to a Black gang and a Hispanic gang. Hispanic gang killed one of the Black gang members, so they just retaliated and shot up some of theirs.

Vic needs to come up with $100k right away for a sting buy. Aceveda is making him do the paperwork for it and wait a few days. Vic took the money out of the money they stole from the heist. Episode ended there.

Pretty cool opening episode for the season.

I'm now on episode 4. Episodes 2 and 3 were pretty good. The whole plot about getting the remaining MP5s was cool. Also, LMAO @ Vic and the gang having a "boating accident" with some of those guns and dumping them in the ocean. I assume they have a way of finding them later when they need them.

That hooker who know Connie was funny. Vic giving her a reality check was great.
