I've never been in a position in the US where I couldn't just go grab a melon soda in like ten minutes if I wanted to. TeaMilk 09/15/22 12:58:39 PM #10:	Melon flavor is SO fucking good, im so passionate about proper melon flavored snacks I assume its unavailability in the US is just because the flavor is based on the Japanese muskmelon (probably Shizuoka crown), and they just aren't grown here. It only became legal to import the fresh fruit into the US about a year ago, so they certainly aren't widely available or known. Any 'melon' stuff from the western hemisphere is going to be based on watermelon/cantaloupe/honeydew or some ungodly amalgamation of all of them I hope that melon flavored snacks become more popular globally with time, especially with the recent melon import lift.
