Like in terms of basing your life off things you like, some people sadly are just on a journey to get from beginning to end. So it's hard to enjoy things.

Sorry but I haven't slept. I enjoy CE so much it eats into my life. It's just hard to enjoy anything when everything seems like a massive struggle.

C, but mainly because in the past 4 years I've seen both my parents and grandparents pass away. And furthermore, I didn't get any proper closure with my parents before they passed so it just leaves me here with more questions than answers. I'm an only child, but I do have 4 uncles, so as a result I've got more than a handful of cousins, but my parents (more specifically my mom) were my entire life.

To keep a long story short, basically I've got no future goals for myself because all I wanted to do was just make enough money in life to be able to afford to take care of my mom when she grew elderly and keep her out of a retirement home. But now? Shit I don't have a clue what to do. On top of all that, I don't have any desire to have children and start a family, so it leaves me wondering what the hell I'm even still doing on this planet sometimes :/ Like sure, I know my parents would want me to pick myself up and keep moving, but without them here to share the enjoyment of any of my accomplishments, it all feels pointless.

It wasnt for the haircut.

I could have paid him $40 and been on my way.

The $60 tip was to shock him and bless his day for no reason.

Also, the fact that I gave him the money before the haircut, he made sure to give me my moneys worth.

He has a kid and he said that he was doing very bad financially as of recently and the fact that I gave him that money really helped him out.

It made me feel great.

I got an amazing haircut that he worked on with meticulous detail.

Keep in mind, this guy is an excellent barber (hes competed in barber competitions and won trophies) so its worth tipping him a lot to show my appreciation for his skill.

If you are talking about blue collar workers and such, I agree. I thought you were going the route of blame society while not accepting that the individual needs to work on themselves.
