The comic story that Love and Thunder is based on is very different, and it doesn't have such a lame ending. I'm kinda mad that they wasted such a good story. I was hyped when I saw who the villain was but his story is misused I feel in the movie. we barely even saw any god butchering

I didn't mind either movie, but it's just so odd how they both ended the same way (for the antagonist)

I don't think they were originally planned to come out back to back

Both of those movies felt like they didn't have fully fleshed out stories when they started filming them. It's really just stuff happening to fill up a 2 hour runtime.

Strange has no character arc, and Thor ends up learning...to be a dad, or something? Idk. The plots were weak as hell.

Strange 2 at least had some fun visuals and Sam Raimi's stylistic direction to carry part of it, but yeah, both endings were really lame.

I really wanted Jane to be the new Thor, and Thor to go on to be a hippy drifter.

That's been a lot of the movies unfortunately. I'm still mad about the fact that they changed Extremis (Iron Man 3) from a massive power up for Iron Man, to... exploding people.

Ultron and Vision's creation was also wildly different in the comics.
