voldothegr8 posted... They should relabel it to a contract bid instead of tip since that's basically what pre-tipping is.Pretty much, and that's ultimately fine. Your expense is basically three pieces: your "tip" (bid) to the driver, the service fee to Door Dash and the food. It's not an inherently bad system. It's expensive sure, but delivery is a luxury and luxury costs money. I think the one thing that it really needs is a fair system for addressing bad service. Because that is where the biggest anxiety from pre-tipping comes from. I know a lot of services allow for tip editing, but that runs the risk of screwing over good drivers delivering to shit customers. --- *Gheb is my other account* ... Copied to Clipboard!

A_Good_Boy posted... These are new conditions. It's not like my friends and relations have always had mobility issues or have always had cancer.Apply for disability, talk to a case worker, see what help you can get. I am extremely sympathetic to people with disabilities, but you can't blame a relatively new private company and system because they don't subsidize your lifestyle. If you need help with groceries, talk to your local food banks, churches, or social workers. Here's some resources to get you started: https://www.usa.gov/disability-financial-support If you just want McDonald's delivered to you, I don't pity you for paying $50 for a single Big Mac. [LFAQs-redacted-quote] The "go pick it up yourself" have always been funny since their anger is always displaced. No customer is supposed to tip anyone. They complain wages suck, but promote the customers paying the employees instead of the employers. This attitude puts less push on employers to fix their wages. No customer is supposed to tip you regardless of how much you make, and what you did for this. --- WAAAH, I CAN'T BEAT THIS GUY WITH HIS TACTICS, I'M GONNA CALL IT SPAM AND CONDEMN HIM FOR USING IT ... As a landlord of 23 properties, I'd appreciate any tip on the rent. Alas, it hasn't happened yet. Maybe I could be like a Door Dash Driver, and suggest that unless they tip 5%, I'll evict them. If they don't want to tip their landlord, they can buy their own house. ... Copied to Clipboard!

If you thumbs down someone you'll never get them again. Seems to work fine for most service problems. --- It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha." https://i.imgur.com/dQgC4kv.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

i hate that doordash makes you tip beforehand. ive had enough orders delievered to the wrong apartment, get lost and give me cold food, put door delievery and they make me come to the street while im working because they dont want to get out of their cars. Just being the middle man of food delivery isnt enough to warrant a tip. Its for good service and not a requirement. I've worked for tips and if i did some of the shit these app drivers have done to me i wouldnt expect a tip either. --- The night brims with defiled scum, and is permeated by their rotten stench.
