Tough to fit the lede in a topic title, but here's the deal.

Kyle McCarley, voice of Mob in the Mob Psycho 100 dub, learned that Crunchyroll's suits wanted to make the dub of MP100's 3rd season a non-union production. He wanted to negotiate with CR for making the dub a SAG-AFTRA union production. He talks about it here:

Between many productions going for non-union VAs, and professional VAs constantly being passed over in favor of mainstream Hollywood actors for big-budget animated films, American VAs really get shafted a lot.
