Sounds like he is gonna be bought out of his contract. Clearly his body can't handle the type of matches he wants to have and rather than have to tough it out for another year contractually, you become the biggest name in the business (getting some X-Pac heat here) and then get bought out so you can just recover and wait for whoever (WWE) to come give you a cushy offer where you fight three times a year. --- https://i.imgur.com/GWG5c3r.gif ... The only way WWE will hire Punk again is if he has some sort of non-wrestling media role like the backstage stuff he did for a little while. He's burned every possible bridge and smaller promotions probably couldn't afford to offer and pay him a similar contract and salary. ... Copied to Clipboard!
