Tried it out over the weekend, said everything ran fine. Expecta this game to be pretty good.

Then he went to play his daily Gran Turismo afterwards, PS5 no longer reads anything

I guess be careful if you try out the Beta. Probably unrelated and bad timing but if I can save someone some stress then.... cool.

Hmm, I'm not sure how a digital product would affect the disc drive? And the PS5 disc drive has always seemed like an after thought. Isn't their going to be a external drive their selling soon?

Also doing some quick Google searches. It definitely looks like a thing that can happen with the PS5

I would try to call Sony, and see if there a warranty for it. If not then you could try some DIY stuff. And or pay someone to fix it.

And concerning the possibility of an external disc drive. Sounds like that is a MAYBE. If Sony actually released one. I wonder if it would be compatible with all PS5 models.
