It shows some examples of moves and sequences of moves that are highly suspicious from a human perspective. ChessBase scores Niemann at 100 percent correlation to computer moves in about 10 games the last years, and no other player in history has come close to that in tournaments (there was a 98% correlation in 2010 which were proved to be cheating). Single games with great correlation can occur but not 100%. Analysis shows that you can win tournaments with "as low" as 50% correlation to the best suggested computer moves. Kasparov, Magnus and Fisher are at 69-72% lifetime. For 5 straight tournaments last year Niemann had an average of 73% and in the last two years he's had about 10 games of 100 percent correlation with his moves compared to the chess computers recomennded move. I don't think there will be a smoking bullet (maybe smelly bead??) as to how these results came about unless Niemann himself or his accomplice confess. The possibility of Hans cheating is reasonable, and if that turns out to be the case - which is pretty likely - then fine. But even then, Carlsen has been nothing but a giant bitch in all of this. He spent a week or two throwing around pithy insinuations instead of making a formal accusation. He faced Hans in a rematch and quit after two turns, which fucked up a tournament they were both competing in. He's tackled this entire thing incredibly gracelessly, and if he had the fortitude and an actual leg to stand on regarding what he was hinting at ever since he lost, he would have just outright said that Hans was a cheater. The rumours kicked off specifically because, after his loss, he made a few barely disguised inferences about Niemann cheating. "But he needed time to really mull it over and make a sensible declaration" - I agree, but that's not what he did. He kept taking potshots, and he even rematched this alleged cheater just to quit the game and cause more drama. He has been the biggest bitch in all of this, and if he wants to keep furthering this anal beads rumor and being a smug prick about it, I hope his reputation is impacted by how much of a douchebag he's being. That is to say, the company won't speak against him so he can make these claims without any evidence. More to the point, if Hans had been cheating more recently then there's two issues. One, chess.com should already have banned him recently for those games as they do for any player of a sufficient player level.
