Tactical Flashlight - Nothing (had to buy another one)
Gameboy Advance - Nothing
Inside Home Temperature and Clock Device - Nothing, but it did display the other day just fine though very briefly
Computer Wireless Mouse - Super chunky. Bought something else on Amazon that will arrive on Monday

I don't understand.

I've tried pulling the connection springs inside them all (using surgical hemostats) but those go back to their original position.

The temperature in my home remains constant between 67 and 75 degrees.

The batteries are fully charged while using many different brands.

Any thought ideas on how to problem solve for this?

Mold, humidity, air pressure, carbon build up (they all seem clean though) or something else weird?

Thought to ask CE here since most of you are perverted and would click on the title thread. :D

Cheers ahead to any nerds that might respond.

Did the battery terminals get corroded by your battery leaking?

If they are, you can clean them with Isopropyl Alcohol.

No.

Everything looks spotless with what I own.

I live in a remote location though, with about 23k mi of water surrounding here, and the weather is mostly horrible, but not inside my home.

Not sure if that might mean anything.

I just don't get it.

Is there moisture inside your devices causing a short?

I can shake my wireless mouse upside down.

The battery inside feels a bit loose, but will then again work correctly for a few moments.

Something is causing the connections in everything to shrink.

Don't know what to Google so any suggestions would be nice. :)

Can you take a picture of the inside of your battery compartment?

Sure. I can take a picture.

Which one though?

None of them work, including those I haven't even mentioned.

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

Batteries are fine.

I've used three different brands and also ones that were rechargeable.

Best guess on my end is that there's something causing internal shrinkage with all of my devices.

^ Actually, it might be the batteries come to think of it now.

I bought them all in surplus back in early January 2020 when I knew Covid would be coming soon.

I should purchase a battery checking device thingy or perhaps try getting some that are more current.

Still would like that Reddit linky though. :)
