It is like felting memory but I remember seeing them at Wendy's. They had like Tacos on it.

Also Wendy's fries use to be the best. Then they start changing them ever few years and they are still nasty. (note just to me I know fry choice is very personal)

Yea, the Super Bar. Had pasta, tacos, salad, and buckets of cheddar to pour on whatever meal you chose.

Theres a George Carlin joke that was like "How come the voices in crazy peoples' heads always tell them to murder other people? Why can't they say something like, go take a shit on the salad bar at Wendy's!". It confused me because I didn't know Wendy's used to have one.

A Pizza Hut topic made me think of this. I mean just think of eating Pizza as family dinner. Those were the days.

Covid basically killed buffets in this country. I don't see them recovering anytime soon.

Buffets are by and large disgusting. I've only ever enjoyed a few in my life...

I still like Wendy's fries better than most fast food fries.

The all time worst goes to Hardee's (or whatever you call it in your neck of the woods). They are so downright awful I refuse to buy a combo from them.

Wendy's is the last place where $5 is a decent amount of food.
Even Tacobell has failed us.

In Canada, Wendy briefly married Tim Horton, which sparked a bunch of Wendy's/Timmies co-locations. There are still a few around, but they have long since divorced.

The people talking about the Sun Room YEAH... I remember that too .

I know I sound like an angry old guy. But stuff sucks now. Like style is gone.

Like The Old McDonalds is tacky, but at least I could point it out if I needed to. Same thing with the church IHOP.

Other than the four years we had Trump, the last time America was great was the 80s. Pizza Hut was great in the 80s. Wendy's was great in the 80s. Chuck E Cheese was great in the 80s. Etc.

I don't remember this. Either mine didn't have it or I'm too young.

Incidentally, one of the very last Rax stores is pretty close by so I took a trip out to it recently and it still had that comfy little sun area that Wendy's used to have. It definitely felt like a relic from a time gone by, but it was really nice and cozy. Pretty decent food, too (never had it before -- somehow never even heard of it growing up.)

Didn't notice the salad bar that post #25 mentioned, but images from Google show that it was still there as recently as 2019, so I assume covid killed it. ):
