Like peanutbutter with a touch of extra gelatin or some other binding agent to make it hold shape in a block, sliced and wrapped as singles similar to "cheese". You'd have to keep it refrigerated but then you just always can grab a slice of peanutbutter for any sandwich. You could even slap it on a burger patty.

This is just a mockup designed by a rando on the internet but man, I wish Kraft Peanutbutter Singles were a thing.

i feel like this would be different. Less of that intense richness to it that fudge has. Ideally it'd just taste like plain ol' peanutbutter. crunchy style would probably be weirder to replicate but i'm an old gummer so i don't give a shit (fuckin hell I miss crunchy though...).

To each their own. I find the All Natural varieties unpleasant, the way the oil separates just... naw. Then there's always one person in the house who doesn't stir it before using so then you get extra oily peanut butter. Made even worse by the time the wife bought "all natural" in one of those squeezy bag things that you store upside down and the palm oil went and fuckin jizzed down my arm when i moved it.

Hey now, don't see why we gotta make this personal. Some folks like particularly soft bread but that tends to rip when spreading thick PB. It'd be easier for lil kids. You could also just grab a slice of peanut butter to snack on (great if you have that one asshole that just eats it out of the jar and puts it back). Ain't no sex starved pervert of a roommate gonna microwave your peanut butter slices to stick his dick in 'em. Also be a lot easier to stuff into raw hamburger for making PBJuicy Looseys.

I dunno where you live, so I dunno if this will be available for you, but Peter Pan has a pre-stirred that can go in the cupboard. Its soft, slightly sweet and tastes like salted peanuts. Its really good.

For me, I wouldnt buy the slices. Main reason is it doesnt sound all that appealing when I already buy great peanut butter, but also because I hate these convenience packs that add more plastic to the landfills. Just give me a recyclable glass jar, please.

Like the tuna in the hybrid foil packs that are pure garbage, when you can buy it already in recyclable tin.

I feel like there would be a market for it. I bought peanut butter crackers for my son, but he just eats the peanut butter and leaves the crackers. So the alternative is to just give him a bowl of peanut butter lol.

most name brand peanut butter's are what you described, it's really only the all natural ones that you gotta re-stir every time.

As for the waste, you do have a point. I'd be more in favor of the slices only being separated by a bit of paper like deli cheese but that would likely require additional tinkering of the recipe that would further distance the texture and flavor profile from peanutbutter. or sold in a single block that you use a cheese wire to cut a slice off of (this does negate the whole "easier for little kids" aspect but that was barely a footnote to me, I just want sliced PB).

Regular mass-produced peanut butter is already bad enough for you, this stuff would be abhorrent.

I would not be interested. I like spreading peanut butter. If I want a lot, I can make the layer thick, if I want a little, I make it thin. Slices would mean Ive got to use whatever amount they decide. Plus spreading works better for unusual shaped things.

fair. i find all of the chemicals and weird things they put into stuff like JIFF to maintain the texture to be unplesant. yeah, stirring a new jar can be a slight PITA, but i use it up within a week and i only need to do small stirs each day after the first one.

The Peter Pan isnt like Jiff. Its like the fridge all natural type, but its pre-stirred. If it sits too long itll eventually separate again.
