Didn't flip out while I was playing Witcher 3. Didn't flip while idling when I left it on while going to the liquor store. Also got a free pair of shitty headphones that I think maybe I stole >_> They were like... literally hanging off of a fence along the sidewalk of a busy street that I live off of, like left there and abandoned. I assumed they were broken or didn't work properly anymore and the original owner was just like "fuck it" and left them there. I thought maybe I could diagnose the issue and give them a bit of a 2nd life but they seem to work fine. They are... not quality headphones. Sound is much worse than mine, but they have what looks to be possibly a built-in mic on the cord? If that's what this thing is, I might be able to do voice chat again in discord. That would be nice. Overall, this was a legit "take something from a curb that someone else threw out" scenario imo. It wasn't even a curb. There's a house next to where the fence starts, but whoever lives there has a big fuckin porch. If some kid or teenager that lives there just decided to leave their headphones outside because they were in a hurry, they could leave them on the porch and probably no one walking by would have noticed. They were hanging off a fucking fence though and it's a public fence, not just a fence around that property (it wraps around the local cemetary). Finders keepers. And if these things are haunted and/or possessed, I'm okay with that. Today she told me to kill my partner and shoot myself. Her last new thing was calling me a * gay slur and before that she learned goodbye asshole as her go to. Didn't necessarily need it immediately but I like to plan ahead. Forgot a few things last time I went grocery shopping so that was nagging at my head and I wanted to sort it out. I also needed a bit more pokemon go walking to finish a task by 8 pm tonight, so the shitstars were aligned and the weather was fucking perfect (low 50s, humidity irrelevant/unnoticable, clear, no wind). Got my shopping and pokemon bullfuck done. Walked out of grocery store to head home. Oh shit... it's raining? Well that's annoying. Oh well. I'm not carrying too much this time so I can hustle a bit. Then it starts pouring like a motherfucker and there's thunder and lightning damn near overhead. What the fuck. It's god damn late October in fucking New England. It ain't fuckin humid. It's like 50 out. I'm wearing my leather jacket which is the heaviest and warmest jacket I will ever wear year round and I'm comfortable in it and somehow still there's a fucking thunderstorm? Bullshit. So every flashing I have this split second "am I about to die?" reflex but it's fine. I hide under a train tracks overpass for a bit but it starts to flood so I have to pick up my bag. Thunder is moving off. I have some frozen shit so I can't be dicking around forever.
